Our Mentors help foreign entrepreneurs coming and setting up their businesses in Canada. It could be Startups founders with scalable ideas or existing business owners expanding their operations to Canada. But our objective is to provide them with all necessary ground support in launching and running their business smoothly in Canada.
To Toronto Inc's Corporate Lawyers and Regulated Immigration Consultants ensures these Entrepreneurs are landing in Canada on a fitting Business Migration program and our Incubator support team grooms them for their time with Designated Organizations.
Experience and proven skills in mentoring Startups in the Canadian ecosystem.
The role involves working closely with foreign entrepreneurs in realizing their dreams and helping them start & scale in Canada.
Help the entrepreneurs to produce feasible business plans and operating plans.
Guide them on effective approaches to present their Ideas to potential stakeholders.
Assist them in their search for VC & Angel funding from organizations that will align with their aspirations.
Knowledge of government grants and programs that may benefit the Entrepreneur's funding needs.
Conduct 2 hour online or in-person mentoring sessions twice a week for a period of 6 - 12 months.
Submit progress reports to the management on a monthly basis.
Help the entrepreneur to stay motivated and engaged in his long-term goals as starting a new business in a new country for them would be a taxing and stressful experience.
Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills.
Proficiency in a second language would be an added advantage.
A university degree in Management OR relevant management experience.
